In Ontario, free Language Interpretation Services are available to survivors-victims of sexual violence with limited English or French language skills.

Language Interpretation Service (LIS) is provided by the Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade. This program provides free interpreter services so that service providers can communicate with all service-users who are survivor-victims of domestic violence, sexual violence or exploitation through human trafficking.

Ask your local Sexual Assault Centre for more information about Language Interpretation Services for survivors of sexual violence.
